Tim Peters

TP_Blog_PicI am a ten year Church Communications leader and creator of the Church Communication Guide.  The Communication Guide is a 12 module online training program full of training videos, helpful eBooks and done-for-you templates, worksheets and exercises. Over the past 10 years, I’ve helped hundreds of churches communicate better.

On this site I provide church leaders clear and concise content on church communications, marketing, strategy and technology.  My content is extremely relevant to all styles and sizes of churches.

Ministry Experience

I live in North Houston, Texas with my wife, Meagan, and three beautiful children.  My marketing education started at Baylor University where I received a degree in Business.

“Tim Peters has created an amazing resource for helping any church communicate more effectively. He has taken a daunting task, broken it down into bite-sized pieces, and provided a step-by-step process that will help any church master the twelve essentials of church communication.” - Michael Hyatt / #1 Leadership Blogger at MichaelHyatt.com

“Sayge isn’t just a resource, it’s a lifeline for church leaders. Sayge does what it would take a full time staff member to do in most instances. I’m thankful for this resource.” - Jonathan Pearson / Pastor at CornerStone Community Church

“Tim is a phenomenal communications leader. He is extremely creative and equally strategic. I believe our church would not be where we are today without Tim’s support.” - Jeff Wells / Senior Pastor at WoodsEdge Community Church

“I love the way Tim’s brain works! He has forever changed the way I view church communications. Tim helped us clarify who we are and develop practical ways to communicate with our church and community.” - Jim Leggett / Senior Pastor at Grace Fellowship United Methodist

“You anticipate the very questions I have before I ask them! Your steady stream of tools are a helpful and strategic resource to clear the sometimes cluttered path towards Christ in our visual, viral and verbal touch-points. Bravo!” - Katherine Lane / Communications Director at The Bridge
